TOWARD THE UNKNOWN REGION

This was... Chris Bent, playing what were the new singles of the late 60's

on Radio Seagull online every Friday and Saturday, midday and at midnight
overnight on 747Khz in the North of the Netherlands
and weekday nights on DAB+ in Havant via The Flash

10/11 July 2026
on board the LV18, Harwich Harbour

1970 & 1968

The first week of releases (issue 107, 7 January 1966)  is ready to be included in a programme. However, life and time will not currently allow this. So, we will continue with revised recordings for 1970 (this week, not broadcast extended podcast now edited into the main show). If you were around at the time you may recall hearing some of them on RNI - Radio North Sea International, or perhaps on Radio 1 in swirling medium wave.

In lockdown Les and I experimented with Zoom and Messenger and turned out some reasonably amusing programmes. As soon as life allows we will begin to investigate The New Singles of 1966...if we leave it long enough we may even commence with the remaining weeks of 1965...

Meanwhile, on Mi Amigo radio from the LV18 anchored at Harwich, we are playing The New Singles for 1968. Les and I will be live from this ship on 25 August 2026, in the afternoon...
